THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jamleck Wachira Gichuki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 0.8 acre, 7.29 and 2.3 hectares or thereabout, known as Loc.14/Kiru/1877, 1815 and 482, respectively, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas the High Court at Nairobi in succession cause No. 42 of 1976, has issued grant of letters of administration to the Public Trustee of the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deeds and 72 72 be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds in the name of Jamleck Wachira Gichuki (deceased) and proceed with registration of the grant documents and issue land title deeds to the Public Trustee of the Republic of Kenya, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Jamleck Wachira Gichuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
