PURSUANT to section 38 (I), (2), (3) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is issued for the intention to prepare a Land Use Plan for Kasigau Ranch in Taita Taveta County. The objectives of the land use plan are to: provide an overall physical and land use framework for sustainable development of the ranch; provide a framework for reducing human-wildlife conflict; provide a basis for provision of infrastructure and services; guide the use and management of natural resources; enhance protection of the environment and natural resources; and provide a basis for preparation of a management plan for the ranch. Any interested person who wishes to make any representation or objection to the above Land Use Plan may send such representations or objection in writing to be received by the County Executive Member for Lands and Physical Planning, P.O. Box 1066-80304, or via email: lands@taitataveta.go.ke within fourteen (14) days of this notice and any such representation or objection shall state the grounds on which it is made.
