THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION
WHEREAS Elisha Adego Ligeki, is registered as proprietor of all
that piece of land containing 0.5 hectare or thereabouts, known as
Kakamega/Bugonda/1904, situate in the district of Vihiga, and
whereas the Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in succession cause No. 27
of 2021, has issued letters of administration in favour of Joyce Anjaho
Adego, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be
registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in respect of the said
piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given
that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof,
provided that no valid objection has been received within that period I
intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and
proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as
proprietor by transmission R. L. 19 in favour of Joyce Anjaho Adego,
and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said
Elisha Adego Ligeki shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
