DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25 (1) (c) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage declares the site specified in the Schedule, which she considers to be of pre-historical interest, to be a monument within the meaning of the Act. Any objection to the declaration shall be lodged with the Cabinet Secretary within sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this notice. SCHEDULE NAMORTUNG'A SITE All that area of land known as Namortung'a Site, measuring approximately 16.19 acres, within geographical co-ordinates 35 ° 48' 8.528" E, 25' 26.0112" N, 35° 48' 16.599" E, 3° 25' 25.975" N, 35° 48' 8.492" E, 25' 12.846" N and 35° 48' 16.599"E, 3° 25' 12.846" N, situated in Namakuse Sub-location, Central Kalokol Division of Turkana County.
