GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1537

IT IS notified for general information that the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage has appointed the Steering Committee and Central Management Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan 2021. 1. The Terms of Reference of the Steering Committee shall be to— (a) oversee the preparation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan 2021; (b) review work plans, budgets and any other relevant proposals from the Central Management Committee; (c) review the final list of athletes that are to participate in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan 2021; and (d) provide financial oversight. 2. The Terms of Reference of the Central Management Committee shall be to— (a) carry out the daily activities in preparation and execution of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan 2021; (b) prepare work plans, budget, team lists and any other proposals for consideration by the Steering Committee; and (c) perform any other duties as assigned by the Steering Committee. 3.
