THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Waweru Mureithi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.93 hectare or thereabouts, known as Muhito/Ruthanji/753, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in succession cause no. 3078 of 2015, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to (1) Jemimah Muthoni Waweru and (2) Githinji Waweru, and whereas the land certificate in respect thereof is lost and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provide no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land certificate and proceed with registration of the said instruments of transfer and issue a land title deed to the said (1) Jemimah Muthoni Waweru and (2) Githinji Waweru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Waweru Mureithi, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
