REVOCATION

IT IS notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to section 94 of the Mining Act, 2016, the Artisanal Mining Committee, Kisii County, shall comprise of the following members– James Micah Onsando – Chairperson Joshua K. Boiwo — Secretary Members: Maurice Amalemba Leonard Ofula 3:29 PM THE KENYA GAZETTE 12th November, 2021 6166 6166 Oswera Cecilia Harriet Jackson Mekubo Kenyanya Paul Mayieka Nyandika Stanley Obiri Nyamao 1. The Terms of Reference for the Committee shall be to advise the representative of the Director of Mines in the granting, renewal or revocation of artisanal mining permits. 2. The Term of Office for the Committee shall be three (3) years with effect from the 15th November, 2021. 3. The Committee shall be based at the State Department for Petroleum and Mining Office at Kisii. 4. The Ministry of Petroleum and Mining shall meet the costs of the Committee.
