THE PUBLIC FINANCE MANAGEMENT (EQUALIZATION FUND ADMINISTRATION) REGULATIONS

NOTIFICATION


WHEREAS paragraph 4 of the Public Finance Management (Equalization Fund Administration) Regulations, 2021 provides for the membership of the Equalization Fund Advisory Board; AND WHEREAS on the 3rd November, 2021, by an advertisement carried in the Kenya Gazette, in two newspapers of national circulation and on the website of the Parliamentary Service Commission, the Clerk of the Senate declared one vacancy in the position of Member of the Equalization Fund Advisory Board and invited applications from suitably qualified persons who satisfy the requirements of the Public Finance Management (Equalization Fund Administration) Regulations, 2021; NOW THEREFORE the Clerk of the Senate publishes the names of applicants shortlisted for the position of Member of the Equalization Fund Advisory Board, as well as the date and time for vetting of the respective applicants, as follows— S/No. Name Gender I.D/PP No. County Date Time 1. (b) The vetting shall be conducted in public. (c) Shortlisted applicants are required to bring with them their original national identity card or passport and the originals of their testimonials and/or certificates and should ensure that these are returned to them before leaving the vetting venue. (d) Shortlisted applicants should also bring with them current clearances from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the Higher Education Loans Board, the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and any of the Credit Reference Bureaus. (h) It is notified that the relevant Committee of the Senate may interview any member of the public who submits a memorandum on any of the shortlisted applicants.
