IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 26 (1) (c) of the Mombasa County Roads Act, 2016, the Executive Committee Member responsible for matters relating to Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works, County Government of Mombasa do gazette the temporary restriction of usage of the Northern Mainland and Central Business District (CBD) Roads of Mombasa County by heavy goods vehicles as follows; Details of Restrictions; I. Traffic movement during peak hours hereby refer to the following — (a) morning peak hours from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. (b) evening peak hours from 3.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. 2. All vehicles with ten wheels shall not be allowed to prove within the following roads during the period. (a) The Nyali Bridge FRANCIS LOSIA, (I)) Fidel Odinga Road (c) Links Road (d) New Malindi Road (e) Old Malindi Road (f) Central BLsiness District (CBD) Roads for effective traffic management during peak hours and the busy festive period effective the 24th December, 2021 to 6th January, 2022 both days inclusive.
