IT IS notified for general information that, pursuant to the provisions of standing order No. 33 of the County Assembly Turkana Orders, and by a resolution made on 12th February, 2026, the County Assembly approved the calendar of the Assembly (Regular Sessions) for 2026 as set out in the Schedule; Sitting Period Sitting Days and Time Recess First Part Tuesday 10th February– Thursday 2nd April, Tuesday (Morning), Wednesday (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursday (Morning) Friday 3rd April – Monday 20th April, 2025 Second Part Tuesday April 21st– 21st May 2026 Tuesday (Morning), Wednesday (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursday (Morning) Friday 22nd May – 15th June 2026 Third Part Tuesday June 16th – 16th July 2026 Tuesday (Morning), Wednesday (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursday (Morning) Friday 17th July – 7th September Fourth Part Tuesday September Tuesday (Morning), Friday 4th Sitting Period Sitting Days and Time Recess 8th – 3rd December, Wednesday (Morning and Afternoon) and Thursday (Morning) December 2026– 8th February 2027 Note: 1. The County Assembly shall sit from 9:00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. for the morning sessions and 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. for the afternoon sessions pursuant to Standing Order 35 of the Standing Orders. 2.
