PURSUANT to section 8 of the Statutory Instruments Act, the Board has prepared a regulatory impact statement for the Engineers Rules, 2018. The policy objective sought to be achieved by the Engineers Rules, 2018, is to ensure effective enforcement of the provisions of the Engineers Act, 2011. The proposed legislation and copies of the regulatory impact statement may be obtained or inspected at Engineers Board of Kenya Offices, Transcom House Annex, during working hours, or downloaded from EBK Website: http://ebk.or.ke/downloads/. Comments and further consultations on the statement may be channelled through the email address engineerslegal@gmail.com or legal@ebk.or.ke TAKE NOTICE that the public is hereby invited to give comments on the statement within fourteen (14) days of publication of this notice.
