APPOINTMENT

pursuant to the provision of Article 176,186 (I) Fourth Schedule Part 2 paragraph II (b) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 as well as the ruling and orders of the superior court in Murang’a High Court Judicial Review Case No. 5 of 2017 interalia restating the County Government’s powers and authority to take over Water and Sanitation Services within Murang’a County and further pursuant to the provisions of sections 6 (5), as read together with section 30 (1) of the County Governments Act, 2012. The transition to Devolved Government Act No. 1 of 2012 as well on the Memorandum and Articles of Association of Gatamathi Water and Sanitation Company Limited dated the 23rd March, 2006, appoints— SAMUEL MACHARIA MUTUGA as the interim Chairman of the County entity known as Gatamathi Water and Sanitation Company Limited, effective immediately, Washington Maina Mwangi ceases to be Chairman Gatamathi Water and Sanitation Company Limited.
