THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT

(No. 17 of 2012)

APPOINTMENT

PURSUANT to section 12 of the County Governments Act, 2012, as read together with sections 8, 9, 47 and the First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017, the County Assembly Service Board of Taita Taveta declares vacancies for the positions of two (2) members (one man and one woman) of the County Assembly Service Board. A person is eligible for appointment as a Member of the County Assembly Service Board if they meet the criteria below— (a) is a Kenyan citizen; (b) holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya; (c) has atleast ten years experience in public affairs; and (d) meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter Six of the Constitution. Interested persons are required to note that the members of the Board above shall serve on a part time basis and the benefits and emoluments due to them for these positions shall be as determined by the SRC. Persons who meet the criteria above are required to make a written application, attaching their curriculum vitae, academic certificates and other testimonials and submit the applications to the Secretary of the Taita Taveta County Assembly Service Board at the office of Clerk of the County Assembly, Wundanyi, on or not later than close of business on the 14th October, 2022.
