APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Article 88 (4) (d) and (f) of the Constitution of Kenya, section 11 of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act, 2011, sections 39 (1A) and (1B) of the Elections Act, 2011 and Regulations 3 and 4 of the Elections (General) Regulations, 2012, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission appoints Mr. Jacktone Nyonje, as the Nyeri County Returning Officer for the purposes of nominating candidates for the 9th August, 2022, General Election, between 2nd–12th June, 2022. Note: The previously Gazetted County Returning Officer’s appointment is suspended for this period and shall resume on 13th June, 2022. Dated the 31st May, 2022. W.W.
