DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25 (1) (a), (b) and (e) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage declares the building specified in the schedule, which she considers to be of architectural, historical interest, to be a National Monument within the meaning of the Act. Any objection to the declaration shall be lodged with the Cabinet Secretary within sixty days (60) from the date of publication of this notice. SCHEDULE THE KENYA RAILWAY GOLF CLUB AND THE CLUB HOUSE All that area known as “the Kenya Railway Golf Club and the Club House therein” measuring approximately 21.95 Hectares (54.2396 Acres) registered as L.R. No. 209/11379 Nairobi with geographical coordinates S010 17’ 37.20’’ E360 49’ 02.80’’ (Decimals: -1.293667, 36.817444). It is located at the intersection of Haile Selassie Avenue and Cathedral Road in the Nairobi City County. The club borders Uhuru Highway (A104) to the East, Haile Selassie Avenue to the North, Nairobi South Cemetery to the South and Upper Hill Road to the West.
