THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Niraj Chawla and (2) Hadija Juma Ahmed, both of P.O. Box 1276–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of freehold interest of all that piece of land known as Subdivision No. 352/I/MN, containing 0.68 acre or thereabouts, situate within Mombasa municipality in the district of Mombasa, registered as CR. 2503/1, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas the owner have executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33(5) of the Act.
