THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Kaburu Mbui (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land situate in the district of Laikipia, known as Laikipia Ngobit Supuko Block 5/369 (South Imenti), and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in succession cause No. 223 of 1998, has issued grant in favour of (1) Lilian Mucece Kaburu and (2) Cornelius Muthuri, and whereas the said (1) Lilian Mucece Kaburu and (2) Cornelius Muthuri have executed transfer to the personal representative as executor/adminiustrator i.e. L.R.A. 39(r. 5538 5538 56(1)), and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said transfer to the personal representative as executor/adminiustrator i.e. L.R.A. 39(r. 56(1)) in the name of (1) Lilian Mucece Kaburu and (2) Cornelius Muthuri, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Kaburu Mbui (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
