THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Nduru Binya Ruthiga alias Nduru M’Vinya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Gaturi/Githimu/20, containing 0.40 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the chief magistrate’s court at Embu in succession cause No. E207 of 2021, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Jacob Njeru Nthiga, and whereas all the efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the Land Registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said Jacob Njeru Nthiga (ID/1305496), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Nduru Binya Ruthiga alias Nduru M’Vinya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
