THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mwita Muniko Maroa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 10.0 hectares or thereabout, known as Bukira/Bwisaboka/920, situate in the district of Kuria, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Migori in succession Cause No. 238 of 2021, has issued letters of administration to (1) Simion Muniko Mwita, (2) John Gati Mwita and (3) Chacha Muniko Maroa, and whereas the land title deed issued to Mwita Muniko Maroa (deceased) cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration in the names of (1) Simion Muniko Mwita, (2) John Gati Mwita and (3) Chacha Muniko Maroa,, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mwita Muniko Maroa (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
