NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly that pursuant to Standing Order 32 of the Bungoma County Assembly Standing Orders, I have appointed Wednesday, 28th September, 2022, as a day for special sittings of the Bungoma County Assembly. The special sitting shall be held in the Bungoma County Assembly Chambers, Assembly Building, Bungoma between 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. (morning sitting) and 2.30 p.m – 6.30 p.m (afternoon sitting). The business to be transacted at the Special Sittings shall be the consideration of: Morning sitting Afternoon sitting 1. Administration of oath. 2. Communication from the Speaker regarding the House Leadership. 3. Consideration and approval of Members to serve in House Business Committee. 1. Consideration and approval of Members to serve in Committee on Appointments. 2. Consideration and approval of Members to serve in Selection Committee. In accordance with Standing Order 32 (4), (5) of the Bungoma County Assembly Standing orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sitting, following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned.
