IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to provisions of Article 178 of the Constitution of Kenya, section 9A (1) of the County Government Act, 2012, section 21 (1) of the Elections Act, 2011 and Standing Order 4 of the County Assembly of Samburu, the Office of the Speaker of the County Assembly of Samburu shall become vacant upon the first sitting of the County Assembly on Wednesday, 28th September, 2022. Interested persons who qualify to be elected as Members of County Assembly but are not such members are therefore invited to collect and submit their nomination papers for election to the Office of 7:25 PM THE KENYA GAZETTE 23rd September, 2022 7320 7320 Speaker of the County Assembly of Samburu. Nomination papers can be collected from the Office of the Clerk, at the County Assembly of Samburu offices, Maralal. Notwithstanding Standing Order 5 (2), dully completed nomination papers, together with the curriculum vitae of the candidate and relevant supporting documents, should be submitted to the Office of the Clerk not later than Tuesday, 27th September, 2022 at 2.00 p.m. PATRICK K.
