IT IS notified for the information of the Members of the Nyandarua County Assembly elect that the Office of the Deputy Speaker of the Nyandarua County Assembly became vacant on 8th August, 2022. Pursuant to Article 178 (2) (b) of the Constitution, section 21(3) of the Election Act and Standing Order 15, there will be an election of the Deputy Speaker on Friday, the 23rd September, 2022. Members of the Nyandarua County Assembly who are interested with the position are invited to collect nomination papers for the election from the Office of Clerk during the working hours (8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) from today the Friday, the16th September to Wednesday, the 21st September, 2022. Completed nomination papers, application letters accompanied with the curriculum vitae of the candidates and relevant supporting documents shall be submitted to the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly at Nyandarua County Assembly Chambers, Ol Kalou at least fourty eight (48) hours before the first sitting of the County Assembly, being not later than 9.00 a.m. of Wednesday, the 21st September, 2022.
