THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kimeli arap Tum (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the county of Uasin Gishu, registered under title No. Tulwet/Kesses Block 4 (Chebaiywokabore)/14, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Eldoret in Succession Cause No. E274 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Frehellen Jepngetich Kogo and (2) Silvester Kirwa Meli, of P.O. Box 306, Iten in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kimeli arap Tum (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
