THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wakaba Gichanga Muhia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Komothai/Igi/115, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Githunguri in Succession Cause No. 63 of 2005, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Nancy Njoki Kariuki and (2) Margaret 112 112 Nduta Wanjiku, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Wakaba Gichanga Muhia (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said (1) Nancy Njoki Kariuki and (2) Margaret Nduta Wanjiku, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Wakaba Gichanga Muhia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
