THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Muchiri Muthumbi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Marmanet/Rumururi Block 2/230 (Ndurumo), situate in Laikipia District, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Nyahururu in Succession Cause No. 37 of 2012, has issued grant in favour of Charles Muthumbi Muchiri, and whereas the said Charles Muthumbi Muchiri has executed an application to be registered as proprietors by transmission R.L. 19 and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of R.L. 19 in the name of Charles Muthumbi Muchiri, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Muchiri Muthumbi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
