THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mutunga Mutinda (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 32.0 hectares or thereabout, situate in district of Kitui, known as Mulango/Kavisuni/61, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. 20 of 1997, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Antony Mwambui Mutunga, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Mutunga Mutinda (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date 9th January, 2026 THE KENYA GAZETTE hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mutunga Mutinda (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
