IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Articles 38 (3) (a), 83 and 88 (4) (a) and (b) of the Constitution of Kenya, sections 4 (a) and (b) and 27 (1) of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act, Cap. 7C, sections 5 and 7 of the Elections Act, Cap 7, Parts IV, V, Regulations 27, 42 and 44 of the Elections (Registration of Voters) Regulations, 2012 and Regulation 98 of the Elections (General) Regulations, 2012, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission gives notice that continuous voter registration that had been suspended for purposes of the 27th November, 2025, by- elections shall resume on Monday, 12th January, 2026, in the electoral areas listed below. 1. Magarini Constituency 15. Baringo South Constituency 2. Galole Constituency 16. Mogotio Constituency 3. Fafi Constituency 17. Eldama Ravine Constituency 4. Banissa Constituency 18. Narok North Constituency 5. Machakos Town Constituency 19. Kajiado Central Constituency 6. Turkana North Constituency 20. Khwisero Constituency 7. Turkana West Constituency 21. Baringo Central Constituency Notes: (a) Eligible Kenyan citizens may visit the respective Constituency Offices to: (i) Register as voters; (ii) Transfer their registration to a different electoral area of their choice; (iii) Correct or update their voter particulars; or (iv) Inspect their registration status. (b) All eligible Kenyan citizens who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years and are in possession of a valid national identity card or a valid Kenyan passport may register as voters. (c) There shall be no Continuous Voter Registration or regular revision of the voters’ roll in Mbeere North Constituency and Malava Constituency which have ongoing election petitions. (d) Registration of citizens as voters and the regular revision of the voters’ roll shall be conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
