IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Articles 38 (3) (a) and 83 and 88 (4) (a) and (b) of the Constitution of Kenya, sections 11 and 12 of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act, 2011, sections 5, 7, 8 (1), (2) (a)-(b), 11 and 12 of the Elections Act, 2011 and Regulations 4 (a), 5, 5A, 6, 8, 9, 10, Part IV and Part V of the Elections (Registration of Voters) Regulations, 2012, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission appoints the persons named in the fifth columns of the First and Second Schedules herein to be the Registration Officers and Assistant Registration Officers, for the Constituencies named in the fourth columns of the First and Second Schedules.
