IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Articles 88 (4), 85 and 194 of the Constitution of Kenya, sections 32 and 33 of the Elections Act, 2011 and Part III, VIII and IX of the Elections (General) Regulations, 2012, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission gives notice to the public that the person listed in the first and second column of the Schedule has submitted his symbol and expressed intention to contest as an independent candidate for the by-election scheduled to be held on 26th February, 2026, and is required to present themselves to the respective Returning Officer on the appointed date for Commission nominations.
