THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

ACT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 40 (1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, notice is given that the preparation of the above plan was on the 14th November, 2025, completed. The plan covers the land situated within the jurisdiction of County Government of Kisii, encompassing the entirety of its administrative including all constituent sub-counties namely; Bobasi, Bonchari, Bomachoge Chache, Bomachoge Borabu, Kitutu Chache North, Kitutu Chache South, Nyaribari Chache, Nyaribari Masaba and South Mugirango. A copy of the plan as prepared has been deposited for public inspection free of charge at the Office of CECM Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development and the office of the Director Physical Planning, at Kisii County Commissioner’s Compound and all Sub-county Headquarters from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Any interested person who wishes to make any representation in connection with or objection to the above plan may within sixty (60) days send the same to the office of the Director Physical Planning P.O. BOX 4550–40200 and such representations or comments shall state the grounds upon which they are made. Dated the 23rd December, 2025.
