THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 49 (1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the preparation of the above-mentioned development plans were completed on the 22nd December, 2025. The development plans relate to land situated within various towns in Meru County. Copies of the development plans as prepared have been deposited for public inspection free of charge by all persons interested at the office of the (County Director in Charge of Physical and Land Use Planning) at Ardhi House in Meru Town, between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. during official working days and on the Meru County website: https:meru.go.ke. Any interest person(s), organizations and entities who wishes to make any representation in connection with or objection to the above development plans may send such representations or objections in writing to be received by the County Director of Physical and Land Use Planning, P.O. Box 120–60200, Meru in Kenya, or (department.lands@meru.go.ke) within sixty (60) days from the date of this publication and such representations or objections shall state the grounds upon which it is made.
