APPOINTMENT

PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 26 (3) of the Kitui County Assembly Standing Orders it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly and the general public that the there shall be a special sitting of the County Assembly to be held on Monday and Tuesday, the 26th and 27th January, 2026, at the County Assembly Chambers, County Assembly Buildings, in Kitui Town at 9.00 a.m. The specified business to be transacted at the two days special sittings shall be tabling and adoption of the: 1. Report and Motion on the vetting of Nominee for appointment to the position of County Secretary; 2. Report and Motion on the vetting of Nominee for appointment to the position of County Attorney; and 3. Report and Motion on the vetting of Nominee for appointment to the position of Secretary to the County Public Service Board. Accordingly, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly to be transacted during the special sitting, following which the House stands adjourned until the day appointed in the County Assembly Calendar.
