THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Olali Kachi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Kakamega, known as South Wanga/Buchif/2006, and whereas as the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kakamega in in Succession Cause No. E154 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Paulina Otsuba Olali, (2) Cornel Wamukoya Olali and (3) Samuel Odaro Kachi, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Peter Olali Kachi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 19 and L.R.A. 7 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Olali Kachi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
