THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kipkoech arap Kendakor (deceased), is registered proprietor of all that piece of land known as Karicho/Kipchimchim/2927, situate in the district of Kericho, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Kericho in succession cause No. E23 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Alice Chepkemoi, and whereas the land title deed issued to Kipkoech arap Kendakor (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue a land title deed in the name of Alice Chepkemoi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kipkoech arap Kendakor (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
