THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Josina Kavere Luyayi alias Kavere Ruyayi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.12 hectare or thereabouts, known as Tiriki/Gisambai/1342, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate Court at Hamisi in succession cause No. 205 of 2021, has issued letters of administration in favour of Jane Sieva Josinah, and whereas the said Jane Sieva Josinah has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Jane Sieva Josinah, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Josina Kavere Luyayi alias Kavere Ruyayi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
