THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Khayundi Malenje (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 5.5 acres or thereabout, known as West Bunyore/Ebutanyi/570, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in succession cause No. 44 of 2020, has issued letters of administration in favour of Damary Olesi Otieno, and whereas the said Damary Olesi Otieno has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Damary Olesi Otieno, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Khayundi Malenje (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
