APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 5 (3) (b) of the Capital Markets Act, as read together with section 51 (1) of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning appoints— Natasha Awuor Aduwo, Elena Natalia Pellegrini, Meshack Moses Kiprono, Gibson Kimani Maina, Michael Bowen (Prof.), as members of the Board of the Capital Markets Authority, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 24th February, 2023. The appointments* of John Kipkosgei Birech, Freshia Mugo Waweru (Dr.), Mark Bichachi, Eli Kamau and Peter Mungai are revoked. Dated the 20th February, 2023.
