THE COMMUNITY LAND ACT, 2016 CONSTRUCTION OF LAPSSET CORRIDOR PROJECT AND ANCILLIARY FACILITIES INQUIRY INTO THE PROPOSED COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND IN PURSUANCE of sections 112 and 162 (2) of the Land Act, 2012, section 22 of Community Land Act, 2016, and further to Gazette Notices Nos. 8676 of 2016, 1554 of 2019, 6382 of 2020, the National Land Commission calls upon persons who have an interest or claim in the land defined by the co-ordinates below, which the Commission intends to compulsorily acquire on behalf of LAPSSET Corridor Development Authority (LCDA) for above project to appear before the Commission in person at venues and dates shown below to inquire into— (a) Issues of propriety of the proposed acquisition.
