THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joel Ondego Opany (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Central Alego/Komolo/2544, situate in the district of Siaya, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Siaya in succession Cause No. E544 of 2021, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Owino Justo Odawo, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed issued thereof by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue a land title deed to the said Owino Justo Odawo, and upon such registration the title deed issued earlier to the said Joel Ondego Opany (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
