IT IS notified for general public information that the Governor of Kitui County has established a Taskforce to be known as the Kitui 7:12 AM THE KENYA GAZETTE 5th Mayl, 2023 2030 2030 County Sand Harvesting and Management Taskforce, 2023. The purpose of the taskforce is to review and evaluate the current sand harvesting and management practices, including public participation, transportation, revenue collection and environmental matters and to develop drafts for both the Kitui County Sand Harvesting Management Policy and Bill as per detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the assignment provided separately.
