IN PURSUANCE of sections 112 and 162 (2) of the Land Act, 2012, Part VIII and further to Gazette Notices Nos. 4392 of 2021, and 5374 of 2022, the National Land Commission on behalf of Athi Water Works Development Agency (AWWDA) gives notice that the inquiry to hear claims to compensation for the interested parties in the land required for Construction of Machakos Water Supply shall be held on the dates and places as shown here below; SCHEDULE Parcel Number Registered Owner(s) Approximate Area Acquired (Ha.) No.10255 Katheka Kai Farmers’ Co-operative Society Limited 31.58 Every person interested in the affected land is required to deliver to the National Land Commission on or before the day of the inquiry a written claim to compensation, a copy of identity card (ID), personal identification number (PIN), land ownership documents and bank account details.
