PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 32 of the County Assembly of Garissa Standing Orders and following a request by the Leader of Majority party in consultation with the Garissa County Assembly Service Board, it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly and the general public that there will be a special sitting of the County Assembly which shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, Garissa, on Thursday, 8th August, 2024 at 9.30 a.m. for the purposes of: (a) Consideration of short-term borrowing by the County Assembly Service Board for cashflow management; and (b) The Garissa County Climate Change Bill, 2024 (First Reading).
