NOTICE is given to the general public pursuant to provisions of Article 179 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, I, Dr. Ochilo George Mbogo Ayacko, Governor of Migori County, appoint the below tabulated to be members of the Selection Panel for the recruitment of the County Executive Committee for Water and Energy Name Position Elisha Opiyo Otieno Chairperson Everlyne Apiyo Kijana LSK Pamela Adhiambo ICPAK Paul Matiko Mwita Member Bishop Joel Okoth Nyauche (Dr.) Member Terms of Reference (a) The Chairperson to convene the 1st sitting of the Panel within five (5) days of the gazettement. (b) Within fourteen (14) days of convening, invite applications from persons who qualify for nomination and appointment to be member of County Executive Committee. (c) Within fourteen (14) days of receipt of applications under subsection consider the applications to determine their compliance with the provisions of the Constitution and this Act; shortlist the applicant and interview the shortlisted applicants. (d) Prepare a merit list of two most qualified candidates for each position and submit the names to the Governor. Tenure (a) The tenure of the panel shall be determined by the date of appointment of the member of County Executive Member Committee upon approval of the County Assembly. Remuneration (a) The remuneration of members of the panel, secretariat and support staff shall be as per the applicable Salaries and Remuneration Commission’s guidelines contained in the relevant circulars.
