THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Jane Makungu Egosangwa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Kisumu/Wathorego/2620, situate in the district of Kisumu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. E74 of 2023, has issued THE KENYA GAZETTE 14th June, 2024 grant in favour of Simeon Jumba Mnambusi, and whereas the said court has confirmed the grant in favour of Simeon Jumba Mnambusi, and whereas the land title deed issued to Jane Makungu Egosangwa (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 as per the grant and certificate of confirmation of grant, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Jane Makungu Egosangwa (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
