THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Mare Wamutu alias Joseph Mali Wamutu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 4.05 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ngariama/Thirikwa/191, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, and whereas the Court at Kerugoya in Succession Cause No. E212 of 2023, has issued grant and confirmation letters to Elizabeth Muthoni Mare, and whereas all efforts to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said administration letters to Elizabeth Muthoni Mare, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Mare Wamutu alias Joseph Mali Wamutu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
