THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Catherine Jepkurgat (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.05 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ngong/Ngong/28471, situate in Kajiado County, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Ngong in Succession Cause No. E49 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Consolata Cherotich Rop to registered as administrator, and whereas the land title deed in respect of Catherine Jepkurgat (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39 in the name of Consolata Cherotich Rop, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Catherine Jepkurgat (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
