THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Hellen Kemunto Onsare, of P.O. Box 5342–00200, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in fee simple interest of all that piece of land known as plot No. Mombasa/Shanzu Squatter/2265, situate in Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa County, registered as C.F. 42316, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show the register (green card) in respect of thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas the the owners have executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the file and the land register (green card) as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act.
