THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Florence Waithera Gichuhi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.35 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kabete/Nyathuna/982, situate in the district of Kiambu, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court in Succession Cause No. E44 of 2023, has issued a grant of letters of administration to (1) Jane Njoki Mbugua and (2) Phylis Wanjiku Waithera, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Florence Waithera Gichuhi (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue land title deed to (1) Jane Njoki Mbugua and (2) Phylis Wanjiku Waithera, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Florence Waithera Gichuhi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
