THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Wanjohi Kamingiriti (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.90 hectares or thereabout, known as Gatarakwa/Gatarakwa Block III/264, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 109 of 2008, has issued letters of administration to Johana Wanjohi Gichohi as the administrator and beneficiariey, and whereas the title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost/cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said Johana Wanjohi Gichohi as the administrator and beneficiariey, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said John Wanjohi Kamingiriti (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
