THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kakuthu Matindia (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.9 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kisasi/Mbitini/679, situate in the district of Kitui, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. E72 of 2020, has issued letters of administration in favour of (1) Musango Kakuthu and (2) Jackson Mutua Kakuthu, and whereas the said (1) Musango Kakuthu and (2) Jackson Mutua Kakuthu has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Kakuthu Matindia (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said L.R.A. 39, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kakuthu Matindia (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
